KSNM 99s

We have decided that as an LS one day a month we will do KSNM99s in hopes of getting LS members gil and getting our MNKs their BB items.

We will schedule the day ahead of time so everyone knows which day it is. It will be held on a sky day so Tues or Thurs and Start time will be 10PM EST and you must be gathering at the specified location of the KSNM.

KS99 - Themis Orbs - run for 30 mins ea. orb so we will do as many as we can in one night.

We will rotate - Early Bird Catches the Wyrm (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Early_Bird_Catc hes_the_Wyrm) (drops Wyrm Beard), The Hills are Alive (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/The_Hills_Are_A live) (drops Adamantoise Egg), and Horns of War (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Horns_of_War) (drops Behemoth Tongue) and do a specific BC each month and then a different one the next and so on and so forth in hopes of getting every eligible monk their BB items.

The rules will be as follows:
Sky Points apply - THIS IS A SKY DAY!!


If you stay for 3+ hours you get 1 point.
If you are there for an 1.5 hours > 3 hours - you get .5 Points.
If you are not online and gave no notice of why - you will lose 1 point.
If you are online and not at event you will lose 2 points.


Money Items

YOYD - Any and all money drops that drop on your orb will go to you -10% to LS treasury if certain items drop. (Stylet, D Cloth, D Ingot, Juggernaut, Speed Belt & Horn)
The BB items will be lotted by eligible monks in the shell. (See Below)
If you are one of those monks and a BB items drops on your orb - you will get it as long as you are considered active and you have monk at least level 70 and you let me know ahead of time you wanted that item. Its just like having a pop set. Go you!
The main focus of this is to get Monks their BB items and I know all LS members want to earn gil.


Lotting BB items:

We are going to treat this as a sky event so sky points and standard lotting rules will apply.
Your Monk MUST be at least level 70 and you must tell me previous to the event that you want to lot a BB item.
The top 3 Monks who need an item will be able to lot that are within 20 points of the person with the highest points that wants to lot.
Provided I know ahead of time and your monk is level 70+ you may get the BB item if it drops on your orb. You earned the seals - you get the loot.



Orb Usage:

You must be an active member to use an orb.
Only one orb per person may be used a run.
We will random at the beginning of the event to see who will use their orbs in what order. We will do as many as we can - if you don't get to use it this month, will be able to next.
If you use your orb one month, you have to wait at least one month before using another orb if there are still other people who want to use theirs. Everyone WILL get the chance to use an orb before someone uses one again.


While I know this really has nothing to do with sky, we as LS leaders figured the fairest way to get the people have been asking about doing these for the longest time would be to do it during a sky time and why not use sky points to determine those eligible to lot first.

So anyone interested in lotting BB items - let me know otherwise. See you on whatever sky day we decide to do this on!

If we don't have enough people to be able to then oh well, but please reply if you are interested. We can get ppl BB items as well as build individuals/shell bank.

Sweet, sounds like we may have some interest on this. I am willing to let MNKs lot my BB items as MNK will be 75, but prolly not before DRG SCH and being close to Usukane armor. The latter of which is a while away since I still need lots of Nyzul gear.

Let's get at least 3-4 ppl who want to burn an Orb at the same location and I'll talk Mirodin into doing this on a sky night every blue moon. I don't know what other's habits are but I myself could prolly get a 99 orb every mo. or every other mo. From the times I do get to xp.

I'm thinking of a tentative July 16th for this. That gives everyone a two week notice, plus clears us of any Holiday skippers.

Suggestions? I cannot do it the week following as I'll be on business, and may miss sky Thur of that week altogether.

If this is not enough notice, or is a bad time in general, please let me know and we can shoot for something maybe early August.

How would you like to do drops and so forth, I didn't really like the old rules for KS99 so its open to suggestions. If you don't have people that are going to listen I don't really want to waste my time wasting peoples orbs.

I think I have a good system worked out but its 4AM and I don't feel like posting it tonight. I'll try to get on it tomorrow and have everyone vote whether it suits them or not.

Also, it won't be the 16th, that's really short notice so we'll have to move it to early part of August.

Also, please people who said something about schedules in game post on here what doesn't work for you. I'm prolly not going to be able to schedule this to fit everyone, but let's get the majority.

KS99 rulz of the run:

BB items are property of the orb holder. These rights can be sold to a willing buyer for 400k. This guarantees the orb holder decent return on investment (see what I did there?).

Monies are a 50% split. 1/2 goes to the orb holder, 1/2 to the shell split. This ensures that people helping out are compensated.

OMG HAXORZ SPEED BELT: This one is still tricky. Here is my philosophy as to why.

I care not about BB items. Until I come across a V. Belt, I care not about selling off my Speed Belt (if I get one) so I would essentially want to keep it. If, however, down the road, I were to obtain a V. Belt I would of course sell this for ~15M. That means 6mo later the shell could be screwed out of money if I were dishonest.

Here are the three options I have come up with but it does require a little faith in your shell mates.

Option 1: A sac or trusted member of the shell lots Speed Belt and sells for 15M. Once sold, orb holder gets 10M and shell split gets 5M

Option 2: (for ppl in my position) Orb holder gets the Speed Belt and forfeits all other money drops to the shell split. If you are honest (if we ever catch you wearing a V. Belt if you aren't) and sell it, you owe the shell 4.5M for split (the extra 500k you forfeited up front you get back).

Option 3: You need to upgrade to Speed Belt and a BB item you forfeit money +400k for your BB item since you are getting both. Again, if you ever get to sell Speed Belt you pay the shell 4.5M

Well i would like a Speed Belt or whatever drops from that KSNM99 and i have alot of seals atleast enough for 4 orbs atm... so i'm willing to do whatever i need to get a Speed Belt lol.

Completely forgot I had put tentative KS99 run down for tomorrow (9/1/09). Not happening we are actually doing Sky.

I am posting a date on the calendar for Tuesday 9/22/09 during our usual sky time (9PM CST) we will pop as much as we can in 3-4 hours based on prior discussions of drops/money.

I think it is best to break this out of the sky money split and divvy the drops split to those who attend that night.

Post what it is you want out of your orb now please as it will greatly speed up runs since I will already have a place keeping track of who lots what.

Again BB items from peoples orbs will be for sale, and you can take a portion of your drop money off your own orb to lot BB items from your orb.

Also post which 99 you want so maybe I can make every orb done that night from the same place. Again will speed things up, and we can do the other two zones at a later date soon.
